Last updated: September 22, 2026
TechieCup Solutions Inc. (“TechieCup,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect through techiecup.com, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us: When you fill out our contact form, chat with us, or email us, we collect the details you share, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, and your message.
Information collected automatically: Like most websites, our hosting and site tools may record basic technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This helps us keep the site secure and working properly.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To reply to your questions and requests
- To prepare quotes and provide the services you ask for
- To send you information you have requested
- To keep our website secure, fix problems, and improve how it works
- To meet our legal and business record-keeping duties
We only use your information for the reason you gave it to us, or for a closely related reason you would reasonably expect. We will ask for your consent before using it for anything else.
3. Marketing Emails
We will only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, in line with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every marketing email includes an easy way to unsubscribe.
4. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our website uses cookies to make the site work properly, to remember your chat session, and to help pages load faster. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site, such as the chat window, may not work as expected.
5. Who We Share Information With and Where It Is Stored
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, live chat, and email providers, and only as much as they need to do their job.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Canada. When this happens, your information is protected by contracts with these providers, but it may be subject to the laws of the country where it is stored.
6. How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections, strong passwords, limited access, and security updates. No website is 100% secure, but we take protecting your information seriously.
7. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. After that, we securely delete it.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong
- Withdraw your consent, subject to legal or contract limits
- Ask us to delete your information where possible
To make a request, email us at Instagram LinkedIn contact@techiecup.com. We will reply within 30 days.
9. AI Tools We Build for Clients
When we set up AI tools for our clients, such as website chatbots or phone assistants, those tools collect information on behalf of our client’s business. In those cases, the client’s own privacy policy applies to their customers’ information. We help clients set up these tools with privacy in mind.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
